Standard cart vs. Database cart.

The shopping cart processing is almost the same. The differences is not in the shopping cart processing; but the inventory capability and administration. A database can handle 10,000 plus items. A database is searchable and web pages are dynamically created from the database. But the biggest cost and time saver is the ongoing maintenance of your web site and product inventory. Add, deleting, changing products, prices etc are easily done through your administrative manager with your browser and the results appear immediately on your web site. The drawback is a database cart is more complicated.
